The ITA Youth Theatre Division remains dedicated to honoring groups across the state that exemplify excellence in theatre programming for youth of all ages, including elementary, middle school, and community K-12 companies. This year, our honoree comes from Elgin, IL, boasting an impressive program that offers a plethora of experiences in theatre to inspire the youth and community around them.
Children’s Theatre of Elgin / Fox Valley Theatre Company is based in Elgin and is entering its 39th season. It serves children from 2nd grade to young adults and has served hundreds of local children over the last 39 years. CTE is as diverse as the community around it and strives to bring theatre and the performing arts to every child.
