Presented By Noah Record, Professional Theatre Division Rep

Hello, everyone.
I have the privilege today of recognizing someone whose journey in professional theater is a wonderful example of how passion, dedication, and commitment can grow into a remarkable career. I have the added bonus of watching him grow his passion for sound, starting from the 2009 Allstate to his current leadership of running a thriving production company.
It is my honor to present the Award of Excellence in Professional Theater to Anthony Bartucci and AB Production Associates.
As a student at Nazareth Academy, Anthony was selected to be part of the sound crew on the ITA All-State production of Hairspray. Anthony approached this opportunity with enthusiasm, precision and skill, and was essential in creating an amazing production. This experience gave him an early introduction to the incredible amount of work that goes into creating a successful large-scale theatrical production. Although he was on the sound crew, Anthony never shied away from helping the others. Or hopping in the back of freezing semi-trailers to unload scenic pieces when the trucks didn’t fit in the loading dock.
After graduating from Nazareth he went to Columbia College in Chicago, graduating with a degree in Audio Arts & Acoustics. While at Columbia, he continued to develop his skills, connections and passion and at the same time, founded AB Production Associates in 2010.
Over the years, Anthony has grown AB Production Associates into a successful business providing rental, production support, and installation services across the country. Through AB Production Associates, Anthony has helped companies, schools, the ITA, and even some wrestlers bring their creative visions to life by providing the equipment, expertise, and technical support necessary to make them possible.
But what makes Anthony deserving of this award isn't simply the success of his business.
It is the journey.
It is the fact that the student who almost two decades ago stepped onto the stage at the Krannert Center’s Festival Theatre to participate in the All-State production of Hairspray has continued to teach, encourage, and support students through many other All-State productions over the years. He has also been extremely generous to the ITA, donating and discounting equipment over many All-State productions that he and his team have worked on.
Anthony’s ability to raise people up and teach the next generation has left a truly profound mark.
It is with great pride and appreciation that I present you with the Award of Excellence in Professional Theater.
Anthony, thank you for all of your assistance over the years, your commitment to excellence, and your continued contributions to the ITA.
Please join me in congratulating Anthony Bartucci.
