    Job Description: The Production Electrician at Illinois Wesleyan University (IWU) works closely with the Lighting Designer(s) and Technical Director in the School of Theatre Arts (SoTA) to coordinate, supervise, and train students on the execution of designs and safe operation of lighting systems equipment. This person should have experience in lighting network protocols and the safe distribution of electricity. This is a full time, 10 month/year (August-May) on-campus position. Generous benefits.

    Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree preferred; a combination of education and professional experience or industry apprenticeship may substitute for a degree. Three years related experience Desired industry certificate, Drivers License required, Physical demands.

    Niles North High School is hiring a Sound Designer/Audio Engineer for our productions of Ride the Cyclone and Mamma Mia! This person will be expected to develop a soundscape for the productions as well as support students in executing live audio mixing for each show. Work on Ride the Cyclone will begin in October for December performances, and work for Mamma Mia! will begin in December for March performances.     Niles North High School is hiring a Scenic Designer/Technical Director for the 26-27 school year. Productions include The Great Gatsby (non-musical), Ride the Cyclone, Mamma Mia!, and a fourth show to be determined. In addition to design work, the person in this position is expected to lead stage crew daily after school along with our lighting designer.     Technical Director at John Hersey High School (Arlington Heights, IL)

    Job Description: Flexible--We are looking to bring another technical director to our team to support our technical theater program. We produce three main-stage shows and student-directed one-acts, and our program supports music department concerts, the Orchesis dance recital, and a culture-week performance. The position is flexible with full technical director, job-split, or supporting roles possible depending on the candidates skills and availability.

    Job Requirements: The ideal candidate will possess a background in lighting and sound design and be comfortable with carpentry tasks.
